RLC-CABLEMASTER - THE MOST AFFORDABLE SOLUTION TO RV POWER CORD CLUTTER!

The Glendinning RLC-Cablemaster was developed to automatically retract and store your RV's power cable. The RLC-Cablemaster has a number of benefits that make it an essential part of today's well-equipped land yacht.

  • Eliminates heavy lifting - the RLC-Cablemaster significantly reduces the effort required to manually extend and automatically retract and store your 50 amp power cable.
  • No slip rings or brushes - unlike industrial reels, our system does not carry power through slip rings or brushes, which may be susceptible to moisture and corrosion in the outdoors environment. There is no chance of poor electrical connections creating a "hot spot", low voltage, or possible fire hazard because the power cable is hard-wired into the RV.
  • Unlimited storage capacity - the RLC-Cablemaster can handle any length of cable and is limited only by the amount of cable storage area provided within your RV.
  • Relocate power cable storage - allows you to store the power cable in storage areas otherwise inaccessible, freeing up valuable storage space for other uses.

The RLC-Cablemaster's new design incorporates several new features using the latest techniques in value engineering:

  • Adjustable cable tension spring - allows you to adjust tension on your cable for maximum performance, especially in cold weather applications.
  • Neutral cam lever - lifting the lever allows the cable to "free-wheel" in and out of the storage space.
  • Clevis & hitch pin usage - allows for easier installation of your existing power cable.

The basic RLC-Cablemaster consist of:

1) Power Unit - the Power Unit provides the base and consists of the chassis, gears, rollers, and motor. Optional installation accessories are often attached to the power unit to aid in difficult installation locations.

2) Limit Switches (In / Out) - the Limit Switches "limit" the length of travel of the RV power cable in either direction (in/out).

When installed properly, each RLC-Cablemaster unit will manually extend and automatically retract your RV power cable and store it in the storage area that the installer has designated. The RLC-Cablemaster does not require any storage container - the power cable can "free-fall" into any void space that can handle the amount of cable. Typically the RLC-Cablemaster can handle up to 75 ft. of power cable. Optional storage containers are available through Glendinning to aid in the asthetic look of your storage area.
